On Monday 5th March Asian Business Connexions (ABC) in association with the Federation of Small Business (FSB) and Ariston Accountants Ltd are hosting a Parliamentary Outreach Session on “The Budget” at the Literary and Philosophical Society in Newcastle.
As the Government has set the 21st of March as National Budget day, this exciting and extraordinary event will give those attending an understanding of:
• The passage of the Budget (as the Finance Bill) through the House of Commons, and its limited appearance in the House of Lords
• How amendments can be made and concerns raised
• How attendees can track the progress of the Bill and access useful documents using the Parliament website and House of Commons Information Offices
There will be representatives from the Houses of Parliament on hand to answer any questions, joined by local Members of Parliament officers and accountants from the leading local accountancy firm Ariston Ltd.

This unique event will provide individuals and businesses with great insight into how the National Government sets the budget, but more importantly how they can influence that spend or even raise concerns and amendments.
ABCurry Club is an informal yet informative social networking event, which is always oversubscribed. ABC is a not for profit social enterprise that aims to Connect, Support and Promote the Asian and wider business community. Working in collaboration with the FSB and Parliamentary Outreach we are bringing together three very informative, business and consumer led, organisations that promote equal opportunity, combined with the amazing venue steeped in local history and practical advice from Ariston Accountants Ltd, this is another event not to be missed.

We aim to help support local businesses and charities and are working with Charlie Bear for Cancer Care which is based at the Northern Centre for Cancer Care at the Freeman Hospital. ABC events are hugely popular and always sold-out. The tickets are priced at a nominal £10 with proceeds going towards the Charlie Bear for Cancer Care “Cyber Surgery Appeal.”
