Get Mentoring - An Introduction To Business Mentoring

These free half day introductory workshops, delivered by DEAL Group in partnership with SFEDI (the Small Firms Enterprise Development Initiative), will introduce you to a range of mentoring skills and give you the tools to become an effective mentor.
 
‘Get Mentoring’ is part of a major government initiative to train those who work with, in and for small businesses to become business mentors*. Those who complete the training receive a year’s free membership to the IOEE (Institute of Enterprise and Entrepreneurs), a SFEDI Certificate of Recognition and are allowed to deliver mentoring to any type of micro, small and medium sized business. Once recognised as a mentor, all we ask is that you commit at least one hour a month free mentoring.
 
Mentoring is a two-way process. As well as offering to share your experience to help others, it can give you personal fulfilment from investing in those you mentor, stimulate your own learning and improve your own development and performance.
