Stephanie Ward Online Business Services/The Spicy Brain Collective

Inclusion By Default

In 2016, Steph was diagnosed with hip dysplasia, after many incorrect diagnosis's. She recognised there was 'plenty of seats around a hypothetical table, but disabled people are less able to get to those seats over a neurotypical abled person'. So, SWOBS was born, after recognising the playing field for work should be more inclusive. She was a one-woman team in January 2023, when she got diagnosed with ADHD. Fast forward a year, she has more than quadrupled her client base and has a team of 8 full-time neurodivergent and neurotypical employees, with all female management and an autism diagnosis!
