A passionate mentor and mental health first aider, Rizwan has offered career guidance, job search strategies, and mental health support to individuals from underrepresented backgrounds. As a trainee solicitor at Square One Law (qualifying in September 2024), Rizwan specialises in IT, Intellectual Property, Contracts, Data Protection, and Tech Law. His work has earned him a strong reputation in the North East tech space, where he is known for his expertise and contributions.

Growing up in the Asian community, Rizwan experienced firsthand the pressure to follow a predetermined career path, often undervaluing alternative routes like apprenticeships. As a parent and mentor, he is committed to changing this narrative, advocating for comprehensive career guidance that recognises individual strengths and passions. He believes that success can come from diverse paths, and he strives to inspire young people to pursue their true passions and make informed career choices.
