Bhavesh Vasa is an inspiring legal professional whose journey from Mumbai, India, to the UK reflects extraordinary resilience and an unwavering passion for justice. Beginning his legal career as a criminal lawyer in Mumbai, Bhavesh pursued his ambition for greater impact by completing a Master’s in International Commercial Law at Northumbria University in 2004. This pivotal moment transformed his trajectory, igniting his commitment to delivering high-quality legal services in the UK.

Facing the challenges of migration, Bhavesh adapted to his new environment by working across various sectors to support himself while remaining focused on his legal career goals. In 2010, he secured an apprenticeship with an immigration law firm in Newcastle, marking the beginning of his professional ascent. Thirteen years later, in January 2023, Bhavesh founded SBV Law Firm, with a vision of creating a multidisciplinary legal practice that provides expert support, particularly to those navigating the complexities of immigration law.

In addition to his legal accomplishments, Bhavesh is deeply committed to serving his community. He has been actively involved as a trustee of a Hindu temple in Newcastle and holds the position of Governance Officer for the Indian Association Northeast (IANE). His leadership extends beyond his professional work, as Bhavesh is also progressing through the selection process to become a Justice of the Peace.
